Hello! I'm Treasure Ray, and I'm passionate about health equity and community engagement. I graduated cum laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minors in Health Disparities in Society and Leadership. I'm currently preparing to apply to medical school, aiming to fulfill my lifelong dream of becoming a physician. At Nemours Children's Health, I serve as a Ginsburg Scholar in the Ginsburg Institute for Health Equity. In this role, I collaborate with my mentor, Dr. Cedric Pritchett, and his team to explore the barriers and factors contributing to disparities in speech and language outcomes for pediatric cochlear implant recipients. I'm also actively involved with Elevate Orlando, a nonprofit mentorship organization that builds long-term relationships with urban youth to promote community engagement and professional development.
