A strong, confident, proactive, creative manager and team member, I have worked within the arts, energy and financial sectors, as well as being a magistrate and textile artist. I represent a hearty balance of artistic creativity and down-to-earth problem-solving and planning, with a strong root in sustainable design and business practice. I am highly skilled at analysing complex business concepts and translating them into clear and useful business requirements, and in planning, organising and multi-tasking. I am respected for my ability to deliver and my effective communication at all levels, both oral and written. I am both motivated and diplomatic, highly personable, and adept at multi-tasking and working within high pressure environments, with a quick mind and excellent, creative problem-solving abilities. I have worked extensively on both web-based and Legacy systems, and also have a strong background in managing customer service and sales teams, and in regulatory frameworks. Specialties: risk analysis, requirements gathering, system and process design, problem solving, criminal law, presentation, facilitation, change management, business analysis, project management, administration and organisation, budgeting and budget management, training, coaching, mentoring. I’m a keen vinyl and blu ray collector, visitor to museums and art galleries, and AFoL (Adult Fan of Lego). I’m a musician and hand weaver, occasionally taking on commissions for woven pieces. I’m well experienced in working with a wide variety of young folk, including those who experience a range of disabilities, as both a mentor and producer, and am passionate about seeing organisations implement a deep understanding of the social model of disability, and embed environmental sustainability practice.
