About Tremane Gabriel

I am a former Division I student-athlete and sport psychology professional with a passion for performance, resilience, and mental health. My journey began on the field, where competing at the highest level taught me the importance of preparation, focus, and adaptability. Those lessons led me to earn a Master’s in Sport and Performance Psychology from Florida State University, blending athletic experience with advanced training in motivation, leadership, and mental resilience. Today, I apply these principles both in the classroom and in the community. As a professor of sport psychology, I guide students in exploring how concepts like focus, motivation, and resilience translate across athletics, academics, and life. Beyond the classroom, I work directly in the mental health field, supporting individuals and families as they navigate challenging circumstances with strength and clarity. My long-term mission is to bridge the gap between performance and mental health, reduce stigma, and create opportunities for individuals of all backgrounds to achieve their goals with confidence and resilience.
