About Trena Loomans

As the Director of Clinical Operations at The Caring Tree, I oversee the delivery of high-quality and evidence-based mental health services to children and families in the community. I also manage a team of licensed professional clinical counselors, supervise their training and development, and ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards. With a master's degree in Developmental and Child Psychology and a doctoral degree in Education in progress, I have a strong background in both clinical and educational domains. I have been serving as an Assistant Principal and a District Behavior Support Coordinator at D.C. Everest Area School District for over seven years, where I provide leadership and guidance to staff and students on behavioral interventions, crisis management, and positive reinforcement. I am also a board member of Marathon County Child Development Agency, where I contribute to the strategic planning and advocacy of early childhood education and development programs. My core competencies include psychology, child development, mental health counseling, special education, and pupil services. I am passionate about supporting children and families through public education, behavior support consultation, and clinical mental health services, and I am always eager to learn new skills and methods to enhance my practice. My goal is to create a positive and lasting impact on the well-being and success of the children and families I serve.
