About Trent Blight

I have been in the Automotive Industry for 14 years in various roles. I started my journey in New Car Sales with Hyundai, Nissan and Honda and moved into Used Car Sales as well as selling new Holdens. After a good amount of time I became the Used Car Manager in my first venture into Managing a team of any size with 3 Sales People and Yard workers under me there. I moved into the Fixed Operations side of the Business as a Service Advisor after 2 years in this role as the weekend work was not suiting my life at the time and graduated to the Service Manager after 2 years in the Advisors role of which the last 10 months I was the Manager on site most days. This was a challenging role with the 4 brands listed above under my direction and we managed to move ourselves into the number 1 Customer Experience Dealership for both Nissan and Hyundai during this time courtesy of the good team I had under me. With the ever changing nature of the Automotive Industry I was offered an opportunity to move into the Heavy vehicle segment by AJL as a Service Advisor which after a while the approaches wore me down and I accepted the role. This has been a great journey so far with the company growing in the OEM space with Mercedes Benz and Freightliner from the Daimler Family and my role within that space growing with it. There is a lot to learn both personally and professionally for me in this Industry and I am open to converse with anyone regarding these challenges.
