About Trenton Wright

While I am a graduate of Business School, I have had an engineering mindset since birth. The phrase "put yourself in the customer's shoes" is often thrown around - but never easily executed. Throughout my career, I have been able to utilize my unique customer-oriented mindset with my ability to challenge engineers to deliver the best products possible. Not only have the product decisions I have made resulted in higher customer satisfaction, but ultimately improved profit and won awards for the organization. At my core, I am focused on delivering results and am proud of my accomplishments. During my career as a Product Planner, I have taken on some of the most complex products and executed successful launches each time. This would not have been feasible without the strong support of my team - both immediate, and cross-functional. Some of my proudest achievements are listed below: Planned and executed $7 million of profit generation for TITAN and TITAN XD Multiple cost savings ideas resulting in over $1 million cost savings - often with short lead time 2x Texas Truck Rodeo Commercial Vehicle of the Year award recipient Requested and successfully defended product actions on behalf of Product Planning in SVP arbitration meeting Supported multiple product launches as lead Product Planner for journalist interviews/walk-around presentations Successful patent approval and published author related to TITAN and TITAN XD What gives me the most satisfaction is helping my peers/employees reach their full potential. I am a strong believer in teamwork and building cross-functional relationships. I take feedback very seriously and make genuine efforts to constantly improve myself. At the end of the day, I am a hard-working individual who runs on customer satisfaction. The journey getting to that happy customer is often very challenging - but knowing the end result makes all of the hard work and long hours worthwhile.
