About Tressa Watts

Twenty three years nursing experience with developed skills and experiences via positions held as a licensed practical nurse (LPN), registered nurse (RN) and nurse manager. I began my career as an LPN in a long term care facility. My role encompassed charge nurse duties and wound care. I am currently continuing my career as a Nurse manager in the hospital setting. I continue to develop my skills as a nurse leader, along with being an active participant/chair in various hospital committees. As a nurse leader, my abilities as a good communicator amongst the associates ensures an effective and overall best practice and delegation in my role. I assist in balancing the needs of staffing by recognizing workload balances based on acuity and encouraging interdisciplinary team collaborations. I stand strong, encourage constructive criticism and continue to be an advocate for the betterment of patients, family and associates.
