As a Leader with a strong and consistent track record of success in helping companies achieve their goals, I understand the importance of results. I possess a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems & Technology (Cybersecurity Concentration) and have excelled for more than twelve years in customer service, business leadership, and systems support in the restaurant and technology industries. I am now excited to leverage my versatile education and hands-on experience and grow in an IT Specialist role, where I look forward to driving growth by troubleshooting system problems while providing an exemplary customer experience. I revel in the challenge of accomplishing goals where technology-related challenges threaten to negatively impact the organization’s bottom line. I am also a passionate contributor with a laser-focus on exceeding organization and user expectations. During my career, I have configured Microsoft Active Directory on Windows and Linux machines, as well as configured routers, intrusion detection systems, and firewalls while defending against attacks from a PenTest team. I am currently pursuing my CompTIA Security+ Certification. A few of my recent successes include: I maintain a track record of success in multiple aspects of IT support, including troubleshooting, new software and hardware installation and point-of-sale (PoS) routing and output destinations. I enhanced our PoS system’s effectiveness at Sandbar Mexican Grill by working with our PoS system developer and Corporate to generate a blank copy of the system to program from scratch. I improved employee efficiency when interacting with the system and improved reporting on the back end to generate accurately categorized sales reports for management and Corporate. I successfully served as an onsite technical liaison with corporate IT specialists at Sandbar Mexican Grill.
