About Trevor Barry

I’m a Computer Science major at Wake Forest University (B.S. ’27), with a double minor in Engineering and Mathematics, and a strong passion for integrating hardware and software to create creative and useful solutions. I enjoy using programming and engineering concepts to solve practical issues, from creating sensor networks for environmental monitoring to creating AI-based image analysis models. I have a solid background in Java, C++, Python, and embedded systems (Arduino). In the Department of Engineering, I work with instructors and students as a Lab and Studio Assistant to assist with technical problem-solving and experimental design. Additionally, I co-founded and co-lead the Artificial Intelligence Club, where I lead projects that integrate machine learning with real-world applications and investigate cutting-edge AI technologies. I'm always eager to learn, work with others, and create, and I'm especially interested in opportunities in software engineering, embedded systems, and applied machine learning.
