With over 25 years of work experience in the event industry, I am a passionate and skilled director of operations at ASM Global, the world's leading venue management and services company. I oversee the operations of Suncorp Stadium, one of the most iconic and versatile venues in Australia, hosting international sporting events across multiple codes and venue hirers including concerts and live entertainment. My core competencies include leadership, event planning, event management, building services, construction management, risk and safety/security. I am driven by the mission of creating unforgettable experiences for our guests, clients, and partners, and delivering world-class service and quality. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, having worked in different roles and venues across the industry, and I value collaboration, innovation, and excellence. In my previous role as the general manager of building services at Brisbane Racing Club, I was responsible for managing the maintenance, security, cleaning, grounds and gardens, risk and compliance and sustainability of the club's two racetracks, Eagle Farm and Doomben, as well as its function and hospitality facilities and construction management within the master plan. I also played a key role in planning and executing the club's major racing events, such as the Brisbane Racing Carnival, which attracted over patrons and featured the best racing champions from Australia and New Zealand. I leveraged my skills in event planning, event management, and live entertainment to ensure the smooth and successful delivery of these events, while ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our guests, staff, and stakeholders.
