Background

About Trevor Davidson

I'm originally from Augusta, Kansas (a suburb of Wichita, Kansas) and grew up watching military planes flying over almost every day from McConnel Air Force Base. This inspired me to learn more about aviation and to get my pilot's license one day. A hobby I had growing up was working on different power sports vehicles. Whether it was my racing ATV or my grandparent's snowmobiles. I loved to take apart motors and figure out how they worked. This led me to want to get my mechanical engineering degree. In December of 2022, I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Integrated Engineering with a Mechanical Focus from Minnesota State University Mankato. I'm currently in Duluth, MN, working at Cirrus Aircraft as a Manufacturing Engineering II working on their SF50 assembly line. Some skills I've acquired from my school and work experiences are networking with experts in different areas. Being able to work alongside a vast array of people in different roles outside of engineering and able to communicate effectively, improving process, & relaying information to design engineers on how to make their parts/assemblies easier to manufacture.
