About Trevor Frederick

I'm a graduate of University of Massachusetts Amherst, pursuing a long career in Media Production. While a student at UMass, I conducted in extensive work with the Independent Film Production Club, where I served as Vice President my Junior and Senior year. With the club I assisted in the production of several student short films, primarily acting. Acting has become a prized hobby of mine and I would certainly be open to screen acting on a professional level. During the summer of 2013, I interned with NewTV Media Center in Newton MA, where I worked as an Original Programming Intern. In my time at NewTV I learned basic video editing and camera operation on various shoots throughout Massachusetts, filming the Newton Mayor's Prayer Breakfast (with Rep. Joe Kennedy and Senator Elizabeth Warren in attendance) and even assisted in the production of a Whole Foods 25th Anniversary tribute video. Primarily, I worked as a Production Assistant for NewTV's Emmy-Award winning original program, The Folklorist. Through my experience with The Folklorist, I also served as an assistant script-writer and appeared as an extra in several of the episodes of the show's first season. After I completed undergrad in 2014, I began my career as a resource Videographer/Editor contracted through Bottled Lightning Productions and as an independent contractor on Fidelity Investments'​ Creative Services group in Boston, MA. I helped produce/shoot/edit internal video messaging in support of Executive Communications. I now serve as a full time Video Producer with Creative Services at Fidelity Investments. I oversee pre-production, production, and post-production on a variety of video projects ranging from documentary style interviews, photography, and animations. Our team supports communication initiatives across the enterprise. I am expected to be fluid in my skill-sets and complete projects in a timely manner, all while pushing the boundaries of creative storytelling in digital media. I'm experienced with Canon EOS 7D, Canon 5D, Canon c300, Canon c100, and Canon Rebel T3i camera equipment, proficient with Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro 7, Final Cut Pro X, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop, and the Red Giant Color Suite. In my spare time, I am an avid practitioner of martial arts and compete in multiple tournaments every year. I am also an enthusiast of theatre arts, and I act/perform in local and regional plays throughout New England. I am extremely passionate about producing and performing for a large audience, and I look forward to a lifetime of telling stories.
