I have recently transitioned from a full-time role at Accenture as a Senior Managing Director in our Growth and Strategy Unit. My current focus is advising and investing in start-ups as well as C-suite and Board Advisory.I had a range of roles in the final two years from working on our strategy around Total Enterprise Reinvention, through to how we should embrace Gen AI both across everything the company does as well as how we take this to our clients in the marketplace to work on the the company strategy.Before then I led our Growth & Strategy function across the Growth Markets covering strategy, innovation and M&A. I also chaired the Offering Committee, one of the three committees of the Asset and Offering Board. Prior to this, I led the Growth and Strategy function for Accenture Strategy (on a global basis) covering strategy development, offering development and M&A.Before this, I led the Accenture Management Consulting practice in APAC for 3 years including growing our offshore consulting capability in India to 2,500 consultants.Prior to this, I held the position of global industry managing director leading our banking industry for several years.Specialties: Technology-led Strategy Formulation and execution; Corporate TransformationFull bioI am a Senior Managing Director, leading our Growth & Strategy function across the Growth Markets. In this role I focus on strategy development, offering development, innovation centers, our strategy for Ventures and Acquisitions (V&A). I am a member of the Capital Committee in the Growth Markets and also chair the Offering Committee, one of the three committees of the Asset and Offering Board. I am senior managing director for Growth & Strategy within Accenture Strategy. In this role I focus on strategy development, offering development, innovation centers and mergers and acquisitions (M & As). At the same time, I continue to work at several long standing clients across many of our many markets.Prior to this role, I was the managing director of Accenture Management Consulting in Asia Pacific for several years, where I was responsible for management consulting across all industries. Former roles include leading Management Consulting globally for Financial Services for two years and Global Industry Managing Director for banking activities for six years. Since joining Accenture in 1985, I have worked with significant clients in the US, UK, Australia and several countries in Asia Pacific. I hold a Bachelor of Science (Honors) in computing from the University of Cape Town in South Africa.
