About Trevor Kanapi

With a wealth of experience from a broad range of international and national local government experience, across a broad range of portfolios including community services, community development, social planning, natural environment, sustainability and public health related roles. Key areas of expertise include strategic leadership, planning and policy development, environmental consultancy, sustainability, project delivery, community education, community engagement and partnership development. My current role as the Natural Environment and Sustainability Program Leader role involves leadership of teams responsible for the delivery of natural environment, sustainability, waterway, catchment management, biodiversity and community partnership services, projects and strategic planning services. Achievements include the successful development and endorsement of State and National award winning programs and projects including city wide River Visions, natural environment and sustainability projects, eco-efficiency and carbon neutrality strategies, land acquisition prioritisation frameworks and the initiation and delivery of local government environmental offset programs (vegetation and storm-water quality).
