About Trevor Paul

I moved to China to teach social studies and English literature and language in 2011. In January, 2011 I became the Academic Director responsible for curriculum development and academic departmental duties such as staff management at U-Excel International Academy in Tianjin, China. I developed training programs for our new teachers and created courses for our students that reflect the standards in the American education system while also planning for further program expansion to other northern Chinese cities. I remained in this position for nearly two years.In 2013 I returned from Tianjin in the People's Republic of China to work at Hebron Academy in Hebron, Maine as a literature teacher, dorm parent, Community Life Team member, and athletic coach. I have been heavily involved in on and off campus events for Hebron and the ongoing development of the school's academics and overall direction as an educational institution. I also married my wife, Molly, in June, 2014, and she currently works in Academic Guidance at Hebron Academy as well. In the spring and summer of 2015 I took on a position with Sunrise International Education to coordinate their US programs for debate and other study abroad offerings for Chinese students.In addition to my work in education I have also coached ice hockey with Rousseau's Hockey Clinic and offered private goaltending instruction through PHIT 360.In May of 2016 I published my first novel. I am currently developing a sequel and hope to have it done by the fall of 2017.Specialties: Teaching students with disabilities, dorm supervision, teaching history and literature, managing diverse staff teams in an educational setting and competitive environment, and instruction in the sports of ice hockey, soccer, rugby, and baseball.
