Results driven, Intelligent, Professional. My professional career began with the United States Coast Guard. There, through hard work and intensive training I grew into the professional I am today. The core values of honor, respect, and devotion to duty are deeply rooted in everything I choose to engage in today. Punctuality and hard work have lead to me receiving multiple awards and the Coast Guard saving well over in contracting fees. Aside from managing personnel and maintenance, The Coast Guard had taught me so much but it was time for me to use my G.I. Bill to earn my B.A. in Applied Linguistics. My passion for language and communication was strengthened at Portland State University. I have studied numerous languages including French, German, and Japanese. I received my minor in Spanish. This has proven to be incredibly useful in both my professional and personal life. The ability to communicate with people in another language has opened so many doors. I have assisted colleagues, friends, and family with communication issues in numerous settings. As a project manager for Tradewinds Construction Inc. I have a large amount of responsibility. The job keeps me on my feet. I use my organizational skills and intense attention to detail to ensure every job is completed on time and to the highest of standards of quality. Working directly with clients such as Columbia Sportswear, Nike, Adidas, and others I have overseen and participated in the installation of thousands of retail fixtures and graphics. Traveling across the country and internationally I have faced innumerable challenges, all of which I have overcome with the utmost professional poise and tact. My work with the company has been integral to its success. I am a knowledgable professional with nothing but positive traits to offer.
