About Trevor Scelso

1987 – Born • 1990s – At some point in the 90s my parents moved to 100 acres of land they had bought for retirement. They proceeded to build a working ranch. I did a lot of work on this ranch and most importantly, watched a couple entrepreneurs follow their dream. This was instrumental in my development. • 2005 – Graduated High School, joined the Marine Corp • 2009 – Honorable Discharged from the Corp, moved to Las Vegas because why not • 2011 or 12 – The 2 or three years leading up to this point are a bit hazy but I clearly remember coming out of that haze and starting my own gym. I was passionate about fitness, so it seemed like a good idea at the time. • 2013 – Used my GI bill to major in business. By this time, I realized I didn’t know a thing about it. • 2017 – Graduated with degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship. Learned a lot about business, including that I didn’t like the gym business. I just like going to the gym. • 2018 – Started working as a Mortgage Loan Officer. At first, I thought it would be a really cool line of work that I could make good money from and ultimately move on to something else in a few years. I realized quickly that real estate is the surest path to wealth and I had a front row seat to watch how it all worked. • 2020 – Bought my first investment property • 2021 – Bought my second investment property and started a Short-Term Rental (Like Airbnb) management business • 2022 – Bought my Third investment property • 2023 – Closed my first syndicated real estate deal as a principal partner • Early 2024 – Managing 35ish doors in 5 states and 11 cities. Could be a lot more but I only manage high quality homes. Always looking for the next great deal I can get into and always looking for strategic partners that provide either money or know-how. I play real estate as a team sport, it’s super fun that way.
