10 years of experience as a training manager for organizations including DC Water, a Tier 1 National Critical Infrastructure, the United States Social Security Administration Headquarters, multiple firearms and private security training companies, having overseen the training of hundreds of individuals including law enforcement, armed/unarmed security, military, and private citizens in in the disciplines of firearms, aerosol weapons, impact weapons, combatives, handcuffing, first aid/CPR/AED, screening equipment, active shooter response, and security best practices. As Training and Compliance Manager for Allied Universal at DC Water implemented the 1st ever Live Training Exercise Program including a Mass Casualty Response Field Training Exercise, Security Command Center Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP) Drill, and Officer Response to Disgruntled Customer Field Training Exercises. Created the 1st ever security department Internal Penetration Testing Program of both Human and Electronic Security with 30 tests performed in the program’s first 10 months. Brought CPR and Less than Lethal certification compliance up to 100% and consistently oversees a 100% Allied Universal Training Academy Compliance level. Developed multiple new electronic systems for the Department of Security including Live Scheduling, online Patrol Checklists, online OJT Forms, online Weapons Accountability Forms, and online Post Orders/SOPs. Increased training documentation by creating the new Supervisor Weekly Training Program. Created the 1st ever Allied Universal Reston VA Branch Challenge Coin now used in officer recognition programs at DC Water as well as across the branch. Partners with DC Water’s Office of Emergency Management department to assist with evacuation drills, and training courses. As training manager for Walden Security’s Federal Services Division – US Social Security Administration oversaw all incumbent officer training in accordance with the statement of work. During the Covid-19 pandemic helped increase operational readiness by coordinating, arranging, and overseeing consecutive and overlapping new hire trainee academies by managing multiple instructors and training managers as well as securing all required training resources. As head of the training department conducted and/or supervised over 275 days of training in 2021. Direct reports consisted of company instructors including full time and adjunct instructors from the officer force.
