Experienced chemist and materials scientist with a broad skill set and proven leadership. Strong project management demonstrated in both academic and startup environments. Areas of strength include chemistry, electrochemistry, materials science and synthesis, microscopy and spectroscopy. Over a decade of experience in energy storage startups, 8 granted US Patents, helped launch 2 start-ups with $120M+ total funding to date. Authored 30 peer-reviewed publications, 12 first authorships, 7 corresponding authorships, 1 book chapter,$200k+ grants as Principal Investigator. I am enthusiastic about science & engineering and enjoy sharing my passion with diverse audiences both nationally and internationally. Through mentoring students and collaborating with my peers I have continually sought to develop technology that enables solutions to critical societal needs.
