About Trevor Stanton

Trevor Stanton is a Product Manager for Financial Wellness at Goldman Sachs, which helps more than 1.5mm employees better manage their personal finances and lower their financial stress. In this role, Trevor leads strategic enhancements for the Wellness mobile app and manages the digital platforms used by coaches, including integrated vendor solutions. Prior to this role, he worked in Goldman Sachs’ Controllers Risk Governance group, focusing on firm adherence to Sarbanes-Oxley Sections 302 and 404. In this role, he led the uplift of several data management and analysis processes. He was also a key contributor in designing the user experience and data model of a system of record for risks and controls, supporting certifications made by the CEO and CFO. In any role he takes on, Trevor promotes a culture of efficiency, educating and encouraging team members to adopt self-service tools that make day-to-day workflows as “smart” as possible through automation. Trevor earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Supply Chain Management, magna cum laude, from Rutgers University – New Brunswick, where he was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma and Cap & Skull honor societies. In addition to improving digital financial services, he’s passionate about applying product and human-centered design to green energy and public infrastructure. Trevor also spends time outside of work reading and (very patiently) training his cat to perform tricks.
