Throughout my career, I have developed a strong foundation in design, typography, photography, visual data, brainstorming, and problem-solving. I have gained extensive experience in concept designs, production of long-form documents and publications, posters, brochures, armchair guides to major sporting events, finished art, and project management. I am a highly professional all-rounder, capable of filling any role within a team environment. My employment history includes significant contributions to leading organizations. During my tenure at News Corp Australia as a Senior Designer and Editorial News Producer, conceptualizing and designing captivating visual storytelling to engage readers. As the Art Director for The Sunday Telegraph, I successfully redesigned Australia's biggest-selling newspaper, establishing a new style guide, formats, and templates, ultimately winning the Newspaper of the Year award. As Deputy Design Lead for National Streamline & Editorial Transformation projects at News Corp, I played a pivotal role in a multi-platform publication program aimed at promoting united design and sharing capabilities. Through effective planning and collaboration with key stakeholders, we were able to fast-track the rollout and implement the project within 13 months, exceeding expectations. Additionally, I have held senior designer positions at Herald Sun, The Sunday Mail, The Courier Mail, The Australian, and Daily Telegraph. I also gained valuable international experience for prominent publications such as the London Evening Standard, The Independent, Independent on Sunday, The Sunday Times, The Sunday Business, The Sun, Daily Mirror, and New York Post. In my freelance capacity, I have collaborated with SCG/Venues NSW, designing and producing annual reports, strategic plans, membership magazines, cricket statistic handbooks, and advertisements. I also work as a Freelance Art Director for Local Publishing Co, managing the production of custom publications and local community-focused lifestyle magazines for clients such as Sydney Cricket Ground, AMEX, Fink restaurant group, Olive Green Organics, and Cambridge Markets. Furthermore, I have provided design services and consultancy for GuideMe Solutions, establishing the brand's style guide, digital assets, and presentations. I am equally comfortable working collaboratively as part of a team or independently, directly engaging with clients and stakeholders. My versatility and adaptability have been instrumental in delivering high-quality design solutions that align with brand guidelines and objectives.
