Currently the supervisor of the SYNC HMI Software team at Ford of Canada. Previously, I have filled multiple roles, usually in parallel, in my career with QNX / BlackBerry (2012 - 2017), Sage Data Solutions (2009 - 2012), and Nortel Networks - 2009): • Team Lead who has successfully lead teams of up to ten people. Activities included: coordinating development with other teams and ongoing product support and maintenance activities around the world; training, coaching, and mentoring team members; and tracking, analysis, and review of deliverables and metrics for all milestones • Project Management with a proven track record of handling multiple projects simultaneously (completed “IT Project Management” course and working toward PMI credentials) • Senior Software Engineer with over fifteen years of experience (registered Professional Engineer in Alberta, with APEGGA). Responsible for architecture and implementation of software applications. • Worked closely with customers to ensure complete satisfaction with our products. • Experienced software developer with over ten years of software programming experience using multiple programming languages and platforms, experience with entire project life-cycle, and iteration through several releases of multiple products. I've been the driving force behind the re-architecture or design of a few applications and have a strong background in quality and process.
