I have had past experience in the hospitality industry, as well as working for nearly a decade in a surveillance department. While working in the surveillance industry I developed report writing skills as well as communication skills. I developed the ability to keep a trained eye out for any illegal activities as well as assisting customers with potentially lost items. I further developed supervisory skill while in the surveillance industry and learned to teach and assist my coworkers. While working as a supervisor I learned a small amount of networking infrastructure as well as worked with various technologies (such as cameras) and learned how to appropriately implement and install them. I am in pursuit of greater opportunities, while transitioning into the software development field, to learn and to grow from.
