About Trey Spaulding

As a seasoned human resources management professional, I bring a unique blend of qualifications to the table. I hold a Senior in Professional Human Resources (SPHR), Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Use of Analytics, and Employee Grievances certifications from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI). Additionally, I have a Master of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in research methodology and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology focusing on Organizational Psychology. I have helped for-profit and nonprofit organizations achieve their goals by creating a positive and productive work environment that fosters employee engagement, performance, and retention. I use a democratic and participative management style that empowers employees to take responsibility for their work and collaborate with their peers and leaders. I have successfully implemented employee policies, programs, and changes that improve the organizational culture and structure, such as focus group leadership, employee surveys, job analysis, compensation and benefits analysis, training and development, and performance management. Throughout my career, I have accumulated a wealth of experience conducting workplace interviews, investigations, and grievance mediation. I have dealt with a wide range of issues, including sexual discrimination, harassment, failure to accommodate, employment actions, disparate treatment, negligence, retaliation, quid-pro-quo harassment, hostile work environment, disciplinary actions, advising on rights, conflict of interest, fraud, HR compliance, and substance abuse. My management experience in Organization Development (OD) has been instrumental in driving positive change within organizations. By developing effective change strategies, I have significantly improved employee morale, increased retention rates, boosted productivity, and increased revenues and profitability.
