Background

About Trey Tanking

I’m a college graduate of Kansas State University with a B.S. degree in Industrial and Manufacturing Systems Engineering with a minor in Business. In the past, I have worked a variety of jobs which included: physical labor, a Production Engineering Internship, I also worked as an engineering teacher’s assistant in a shop class for my last two years of college. I was a Field Engineer out of college specializing in Civil work and Foundations. Currently, I’m a Manufacturing Engineer being transitioned into a Project Manager/Engineer role. In my previous position, I was able to create and run a business operating model from the ground up in order to outsource fabrication work. This would include both internal and external processes. I was able increase output capacity by profit gains by 15%, and all while reducing operating head count. I learned a lot from that position and look to bring those lessons into future working roles.
