About Trey Weeks

Growing up I was always someone who needed to be involved in a sporting activity and now to be working for such a large sporting program seems like a dream come true. If I could go back and tell my high school self what I was doing in college, he would be shocked at what I was doing. When I was younger, I was extremely interested in sports and played at a high level all they way until I finished high school. I feel that the skills I gained through my years of playing sports have greatly helped me get to where I am today. I am currently attending the University of Florida as a sports management major. I am finishing up my third year while also working for the football team here at UF. For the football team I film their practices and games to make sure that the coaches have film to watch to better the team, so I am experienced with the camera. After the games and practices we edit the film to trim off all of the unneeded film so I am also great with computers and editing software. This job also comes with collaborating with other departments around the organization so it has improved my interpersonal skills. I have worked for the team for three years now so my experience in the sporting industry is immense for my age.
