There’s a quote by Abraham Lincoln that says “the best way to predict the future is to create it.” I want to help be part of creating of our future. I am a business professional who is interested in helping companies achieve success. I believe that both businesses and people can benefit from marketing. In today's world, with countless businesses and the accessibility of information, marketing is the key to differentiation which is ultimately the key to success. My specialities are helping businesses by reaching a vision with strategic planning; creating a strong brand through pricing, planning, and graphic design; and engaging customers through communication. I helped my company improve margins by 21.5% by accurately costing their consumable materials and correctly marking up their services, in the form of updated quoting and time and material sheets. I also built and developed our system for generating online leads that has increased in revenue by upwards of 500% over three years. I recently graduated with distinction from the University of the Fraser where I received my BBA in Marketing Management and a Minor in Communications. I was honoured to represent the communications department at the university’s President Lecture Series and invitation-only networking dinner with special guest Terry O’Reilly; and was the recipient of the sole communications scholarship upon graduation. During my education I had the opportunity to apply my skills to help local businesses with their marketing. One of which included writing a strategic plan for a local farm struggling with over diversification, which is projected to increase their net income by 43%. I approach every project with a sense of competitiveness and a dedication to excellence that enables me to deliver exceptional results. I love connecting with new people and having conversations.
