About Trina Caudle

Dr. Trina Caudle is the Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education for the Post Falls School District #273 in Post Falls, Idaho. After 36 years in public education, she will retire from the district in June 2025. As a dynamic leader in education, she oversees the secondary education programs for approximately 3,200 students, guiding curriculum development, assessment delivery, and the professional growth of teachers and building leaders. With a steadfast commitment to innovation and excellence, Dr. Caudle fosters collaborative partnerships with staff, parents, community members, and business leaders to ensure every student thrives in a complex and ever-evolving world. Dr. Caudle’s career spans a range of educational roles, from math and science teacher to high school principal, and district office administrator. Prior to joining Post Falls, she served as Assistant Superintendent of Secondary Education & Curriculum at Coeur d’Alene School District #271, where she successfully led the development of the district’s strategic plan, drove curriculum innovation, and spearheaded initiatives to enhance the mental health and well-being of students and staff. She also held leadership roles in Idaho Falls School District #91, contributing to significant educational reforms, opening a magnet high school and enhancing student outcomes. A passionate advocate for community involvement, Dr. Caudle is deeply committed to service and volunteerism. She served on multiple boards, including Gizmo Coeur d’Alene and the Safe Passage Violence Prevention Center, participating in local community development and fundraising efforts. Dr. Caudle currently serves as the Vice Regent of the Pleasantview Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, a non-profit organization promoting historic preservation, education and patriotism locally and across the United States. In addition to her administrative roles, Dr. Caudle is an experienced educator and consultant, having taught leadership and administration courses at the University of Idaho. She holds an Ed.D. in Education from the University of Idaho, an Ed.S. in Superintendency from Idaho State University, and an M.Ed. in Public School Administration from the University of Alaska Anchorage.
