About Trina Chatterjee

I am currently pursuing my Masters in Communication & Media, with my Major in Digital Media and minor in Communications.I plan to leverage my coursework and my previous professional experience in my professional life. With more than two decades of professional experience in Media Sales, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Recruitment,i am looking at opportunities which challenge my, which widens my perspectives and brings in diversity and inclusivity in my experience. With my bachelors degree in Philosophy, which was unrelated to what i pursued in my career, i have always followed my passion, i believe passion and consistency are key drivers. I have always been drawn to communicating, comprehending and building brands, selling and marketing. Successfully ideating, executing and strategising IP's,launching new channels, expanding their reach and market the brand, moving out of the comfort zone has always motivated me. Voluntarily teaching and being associated with institutes to share practical insights into the media industry, is something that i thoroughly enjoyed. Talent acquisition, developing talent has also been part of my previous experiences. Change is constant and one needs to adapt to the new perspectives, technologies and ideas, and i feel learning is constant, and social media / digital media, is where the future lies.and honing my skills was relevant. Communication on any platform, marketing, sales, brand building is inherent, and i feel that effective communication is the key to any role that one plays in life, and that is what i enjoy doing. Platforms could vary, mediums could change, functions might have a name to them, but all lead to communicating.
