Financial and Program Monitoring · Responsible for administrative and budgeting functions. · Assess, monitor and report funding for reporting requirements with other governmental agencies and private contractors. · Monitor program budgets and Federal/State/Local/Grant which fund Dial-A-Ride, paratransit services and Pasadena Transit, fixed-route transit system and other programs. · Develop grant proposals to fund programs and purchase vehicles. Enhance the quality of service for the Dial-A-Ride Program for seniors and fixed route transit program within the city. · Review expenditures, project future budgetary needs and make recommendations. Inter-Agency Coordination · Intergovernmental relations; coordination with outside agencies (e.g. Metro, Los Angeles County, City of San Marino, Access Services) on issues related to the city’s transit program operations and reporting. · Make recommendations in the development, administration and operation of public transportation and other programs and operations within the city. · Prepare contracting documents, lead, manage and facilitatate year-end program audits. Program Organizational Analysis · Management of programs and daily coordination with contractor of projects and activities associated with the operations of the city’s fixed-route bus system and paratransit services. · Data analysis and grant preparation and monitoring.
