About Trinity Ignatius
Let me start with my name, Trinity Ignatius currently working as a chef in a four star property name Fihalhohi Island,Maldives, also served my culinary experience for the international chains such as Villa Hotels,One and Only resorts, Per Aqua, Sheraton, Hyatt, Constance, Soneva. I found a great passion in cooking, implementing new things with creativity and always empower my colleagues. So I took it as my profession and got my graduatation degree in hotel management from Modern group of institution in Kollam, India (2001). Around one year I got some basic skills from India by working in several hotels. In 2002 I migrated to Maldives, which is a good tourism country that can get great skills in culinary. My first assignment was with Oluvelhi beach and spa resort Maldives as a chef de party which I was doing all the main preparation of the international buffet. After that I moved to an international chain of resort name One and Only Rethira resorts, Maldives with some new challenges as a Jnr Sous chef I gained a lack of experience from One and only and become a good trainer. After I got an opportunity as a Jnr sous chef in one of the International chain name Huvafenfushi by per Aqumn which I started to play the main role in the kitchen. Our resort was awarded twice for the best resort in Maldives. During my culinary experience I have gained experience in International cusines and Indian ocean cusines, so my next aim is to cover an Arabic experience so I go a new challenge in Hyatt regency Tabah Heights Egypt as a Sous chef, I was having a great experience in culinary skills over Hyatt. After the economic crisis started I want to make a move, seeking my experience in Maldives I got a great opportunity as a Sous chef.At present I am sharing my culinary knowledge at Fihalhohi Island Resort. Hunger never stops till last we need to cook so my journey continues as a chef.
