About Triona Osullivan

I have been working as a qualified Occupational Therapist since January 2017, holding a Masters Degree of Science in this area. I also have a background undergraduate degree in Psychology and Sociology. I began my career employed as a Forensic Mental Health Occupational Therapist with NHS Scotland, where after 2 years I was given a Specialist role. This involves a diverse range of practice and experience with complex treatment in a specialized setting. This role involves the promotions of occupational performance through interventions in both physical and mental health while balancing this within the legal confinements of a forensic setting. More recently I have moved to Canada, and started a Community based role with FunctionAbility. Opportunities involved in this role are diverse, treating clients with conditions ranging from Acquired Brain Injury, Concussion, Orthopedic and Mental Health difficulties. This role has also offered me in depth insight into the Motor Vehicle Industry and navigating this system to ensure high level rehabilitation for clients who have experienced trauma.
