About Trish Ann Ramirez

The first time I ever fell in love with learning about technology was during my networking and data communications class. Not only did I learn about how the internet works, but I also learned the dangers of the internet. After graduating, I wanted to dive into the world of information technology-specifically, cybersecurity. Nine months later, I can confidently say I have taught myself these valuable skills: I acquired hands-on experience in configuring and securing operating systems and networks- I learned how to program with Linux and sharpened my Python and SQL skills- I am a fast learner! I managed to learn and relearn these technical skills within a week. I am familiar with cybersecurity terminology and concepts- I understand the Cybersecurity Framework, Risk Management Framework, and the CIA (confidentiality, integrity, and availability) triad- I developed expertise in network security, cryptography, and ethical hacking techniques. After obtaining my Google Cybersecurity Certificate, I want to aim higher and obtain CompTIA Network+, Splunk Core Certified User, and AZ900. I will always be hungry for knowledge!
