Trish Hines is the President and Founder of Genesis Executive, an oil and gas executive recruitment firm in Calgary, Canada. Trish is a devoted inhabitant of Calgary, working toward the community’s good in her personal and professional interests and philanthropies. Hers is one of the most respected names in Executive Search based on her longstanding relationships with many leaders in the oil and gas industry. Since Trish founded Genesis in 1983, she has been placing energy professionals into senior technical, management and executive roles. Through the booms and busts of the oil and gas industry Genesis has developed resiliency and an enviable network of people and oil and gas industry knowledge to better serve its clientele. As President of Genesis, Trish supports societies that expand and nurture the oil and gas business throughout Canada. She is a member of the (SPE) Society of Petroleum Engineers, CEGA (Canadian Energy Geoscience Association),(CSEG) Canadian Society of Exploration Geophysicists and (CPHR) Chartered Professionals in Human Resources. Genesis also donated a bursary to the University of Calgary to support students pursuing a career in the Energy industry. A lover of animals, Trish’s personal philanthropic interests involve helping groups that support animals in need and raise awareness regarding animal cruelty. She is involved and contributes regularly to the Calgary Humane Society, the MEOW Foundation, Calgary Wildlife, Mercy for Animals, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and the World Wildlife Fund. Trish has been a member of the Calgary Petroleum Club since March 1995.
