About Trisha Deschamps

With over 25 years as IT Programmer/Analyst, I've enjoyed a career as a technical "Jill of all trades". I have extensive experience as web and enterprise application designer and developer, DBA, Project Management, and ITIL/IT Service Management product support/implementation/training specialist. In addition to this, I've worked as a customer support analyst and have worked with a variety of different clients, both in public and private sectors. In my spare time (or what I like to call the "procrastinator in me is still alive and well, but I have a little more motivation today than I did yesterday") I've enjoyed working in various digital mediums and platforms, creating web spaces, media packages, designing graphics, producing learning material, marketing pieces, and absorbing as much as possible about all things creative, which has been my lifelong passion. I have also spent much of my down time painting with acrylics, water colours, and pastels, sewing, paper craft, and other mediums. Much of the training in these has been self-taught. I'm not formally trained as a graphic designer or artist but learned and adapted by observation, trial and error, and countless hours of do-it-again-until-you-get-it-right.
