About Trisha Duerr

I am a nurse, servant leader, and educator. I am board certified in emergency, trauma, transport, and pediatric emergency nursing. I have a strong background in emergency nursing and critical care transport (both in rural and urban areas), as well as trauma nursing experience in centers levels 2-4. I also have extensive experience with process improvement, working with and leading interprofessional teams, and using evidence-based practice to drive and implement change in the emergency department. My overall goal is to be a force-multiplier. I am an advocate for staff, students, the emergency nursing specialty, and most importantly, our patients. I am the creator and administrator of the Facebook group "Evidence-Based Emergency Nursing", where we share educational opportunities, discuss evidence-based care and recent literature, and collaborate across disciplines to provide the best care for our patients.
