About Trisha Duerr

I am a nurse, servant leader, and educator. I am board certified in emergency, trauma, transport, and pediatric emergency nursing. I have a strong background in emergency nursing and critical care transport (both in rural and urban areas), as well as trauma nursing experience in centers levels 2-4. I also have extensive experience with process improvement, working with and leading interprofessional teams, and using evidence-based practice to drive and implement change in the emergency department and EMS systems. My overall goal is to be a force-multiplier. I am an advocate for staff, students, the emergency nursing specialty, and most importantly, our patients. Additionally, I am the creator and administrator of "Evidence-Based Emergency Nursing" on Facebook and IG (@eb_emergency_nursing). The focus of these educational pages is to share research, CE opportunities, and best practices.
