Background
About Trisha Fontan
I have more than 10 years of fundraising and event management experience. During my tenure as the Associate Director of Development we exceeded all fundraising goals and were able to build a culture of philanthropy. I have worked extensively with volunteers and Board members to facilitate events and campaigns. I have also worked extensively as an executive personal assistant, first while I was working through college and when I started by career in non-profits and more recently when I stepped away from fundraising. I find that the attention to detail, relationship management and communications skills can be extremely similar when working as a PA and in development. Most importantly they both require you to be able to multi-task, problem solve and curate relationships.
