About Trisha Henley

I am the Vice Provost of Graduate, Online, and Professional Education and the Dean of Graduate Education at Seattle University, where I lead the strategic planning, development, and implementation of innovative and inclusive educational programs and policies that serve adult and underserved student populations. With over 9 years of experience in higher education leadership and administration, I have collaborated with faculty, staff, and external partners to design, launch, and operationalize new academic units, degrees, and modalities that align with the university's mission and vision. My core competencies include data-informed and results-oriented decision making, project management, curriculum development, online learning, and new business development. I am passionate about building educational curricula, policies, and organizations that allow all student populations access to a transformative education. I hold a Ph.D. in Early Modern Literature from Florida State University, and I have co-edited a book published by Oxford University Press.
