About Tristan Sing

I am a student at the Griffith University School of Medical Science studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with Honours. My dream is to undertake postgraduate research and education through the Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) combined pathway program. I have a passion for medical research as well as the practice of clinical medicine to aid ill individuals. I aim to pursue my passions through future education and employment.Through my studies and educational efforts, I have developed the necessary skills to be especially assiduous in the pursuit of my education. This not only reflected in my academic results but also in my willingness to participate in group orientated tasks and learning. As a tutor of and with my peers, I have developed skills necessary to communicate effectively and informatively, making complex concepts accessible and easy to understand. My passion for research would further this, as communicating ground-breaking discoveries is a significant goal of mine,My community and group focus goes beyond academics as I have participated in several social justice outreach and fundraising programs. I have developed a great empathy and awareness of public health and disaster relief issues. As a Honours program undergraduate, I am aiming to continue to develop and utilize my passion and dedication for biomedical research and apply these skills in clinical settings as a Doctor of Medicine.
