As a strategic advisor and deputy head of partnerships and program development, I thrive at the intersection of complex stakeholder engagement, policy-making, and strategic guidance for management and executive boards. My role is to act as a trusted sparring partner, offering insights and solutions that drive sustainable, international collaborations and lead impactful program initiatives. My focus is on enhancing socio-economic stability, particularly in (post-)conflict regions, where the need for resilience and partnership is most critical.Current topics: food system transformation, security and rule of Law, Water management, energy, climate adaptation, SRHR- women’s rights, digitalisation.I bring a ‘can do’ mentality, resilience, political sensitivity with a diverse skill set to the table, encompassing public affairs, external positioning, and coalition-building. With extensive experience in partnership and project management, scenario thinking, I navigate the complexities of securing and managing (EU) grants, tenders, and funds, while also planning and coordinating events like symposia, seminars, and workshops. My expertise lies not only in developing business opportunities but also in fostering robust networks that span the globe.My fieldwork has taken me across West and East Africa, Asia, Central and South America, and the MENA region, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of diverse socio-political landscapes. Over the years, I have successfully collaborated with knowledge institutions, the EU, UN, governments, private sector entities, industry organizations, top sectors, international NGOs, and multilateral institutions.I am adept at working with culturally diverse teams, and my strong networking ability and multi-lingual proficiency (Dutch, English, Spanish, Italian, with strong working knowledge of French and German, and elementary Arabic) enables me to connect with stakeholders across borders, fostering understanding and shared goals.
