Husband, father, state trooper, social media influencer, and kansan by choice. born in michigan and raised through difficulties. trooper ben has always known he wanted to become something in life. after his school years and working in a factory, he enlisted in the us army for three years as a 19-kilo abrams tank crewmember. it was during this time he met his wife, mary. a choice was needing to be made continue a military career or further pursue her. trooper ben followed his heart. he gained a wife, four kids, and a career with the kansas highway patrol. trooper ben now has over twenty-four year's law enforcement experience with the kansas highway patrol, where he currently serves as the public information officer of troop c. covering north-central kansas. he keeps a continued and forward-thinking approach to ways to inform and educate the public and media through his twitter account at @trooperbenkhp over his many years of using twitter, he has gained over followers across kansas and around the world. his approach is to be "real, honest, and open" on twitter with hopes of building a positive relationship with anyone.
