Youth Sports Coach, responsible for wheelchair basketball and sled hockey. Paralyzed in a car accident in 1981. A member of the United States National Wheelchair Basketball team from 1990-2004. Competed in four Paralympic Games, 1992, 1996, and 2004. Competed in the World Championships in 1994 and 1998. Became the 2nd Paraplegic to climb El Capitan in Yosemite Valley, CA in 1998. Repeated the climb in and completed the "Nose" route in 37 hours.
