My name is Troy Alsbrook, I am a 2004 graduate from Northwest Mississippi Community College where I received my associates degree in accounting. I am also a 2006 graduate from The University Of Mississippi where I received my bachelor’s degree in accounting with a 3.65 GPA I have 13 years experience in the transportation industry with a background in scheduling and managing multiple drivers on a daily basis.I have knowledge of all required licensing needed to haul in certain states. I have knowledge of the IFTA tax return that is filed every quarter. I have extensive knowledge of the AS400 which I have worked on a daily basis for the last year and a half. I have 15 years experience in the accounting field with significant experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation. I have experience with payroll taxes (940 and 941 taxes). I have experience with fuel taxes and heavy highway taxes in the trucking industry. I have used both Quickbooks and Peachtree accounting programs. I also have about 15 years experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint. I have about 6 years experience with personal taxes. I would like to have the opportunity to pursue a long term position within your company by proving to you my capabilities and my work ethic. I would like to have the opportunity to help your company achieve it’s goals. I am just looking for an opportunity to prove that I can be a very valuable asset to your company. I believe myself to have a very good work ethic and have always been a very hard working individual at what ever I was pursuing.
