About Troy Ballard

Troy Ballard is part of a 35‐member team led by Robert Given that focuses on institutional multifamily sales, land development sales, structured equity finance and private capital sales throughout the state of Florida. With nearly two decades of multifamily development, operations, and brokerage experience, Troy has completed over 150 transactions totaling multifamily units valued over $25 billion throughout his career. Prior to joining CBRE, Troy served as a Vice Chairman at Cushman & Wakefield and a Senior Managing Director in Newmark’s Boca Raton office. At Newmark, he founded the firm’s South Florida Land Division and was lead broker on land transactions representing nearly units with an expected development value of over $1 billion. Troy was a founding partner and President of TM Real Estate Group. Under his guidance, TM Real Estate Group participated in the operations, management, acquisition or disposition of nearly residential units and numerous land projects ranging from core infill to mixed-use and suburban sites. Troy also served as Senior Project Director at The Related Group of Florida, where he helped develop numerous residential and mix-use projects, including the award-winning CityPlace in West Palm Beach.
