About Troy Carroll

Hello, My name is Troy Carroll. I graduated Norwich High School in 2003 where I then attended Hutchinson Community College to pursue my career as a Firefighter/ Paramedic. I worked as a paramedic in several communities such as Norwich, Haven and Reno County. In 2007 I moved to Tulsa Oklahoma where I worked as a paramedic for almost 3 years for EMSA. After learning of my grandmother’s declining health I decided to move back to Kansas where I worked as a dispatcher for Hutchinson/Reno County until I was hired on with Reno County EMS as a paramedic. After being a paramedic for more than 7 years I decided it was time for a change in jobs and became employed with Ressler Well Service as a roustabout hand and also worked for Burrton township maintaining all aspects of the township. I worked there for several years and was then offered a job with H&P drilling on a flex 3 drilling rig located in Rankin, TX. I worked with H&P until January of 2015 when they began mass layoffs due to the drastic drop in oil prices. I then went to work with Maurer Harvesting to operate a combine. I enjoy working on things, repairing equipment and working outside. I am mechanically inclined, can repair almost anything. I am currently looking to enter into Law Enforcement. That has always been a career that I have wanted to do ever since I was a little kid and I feel that being a single man, never married, with no kids that right now is a good time in my life to get into that career field. I feel that with my experience in my professional careers and in my personal life that I would make an excellent law enforcement officer and I do hope to retire as one in the far distant future.
