About Troy Dyer

Accomplished IT Manager with over 12 years of valuable experience in information technology. My mission is to align the company's IT goals with modern technology and best practices, and to ensure the smooth and secure operation of all IT systems and processes. Ever since I was a teenager the field of Information Technology (IT) has held a magnetic pull for me. My innate curiosity and problem-solving abilities found an outlet in the ever-evolving world of technology. My journey started at a small computer hardware startup, where I had the opportunity to be involved in the full development of new products where I provided support, testing, prototyping, wiring and more. In my last role as IT Manager for Farallon consulting, I oversaw support of over 115 employees. After joining Farallon I have implemented a ticketing system with Teams integration, standardized network equipment for all 7 office locations, implemented a technology replacement cycle for employees, migrated the company onto Teams Phone and onboarded the company into the BOX ecosystem. I also worked with the technology committee to introduce new technologies such as LTE tablets for field staff that streamline processes and increase efficiency. Additionally, I handled the technology budget and provided training and support for new and existing employees. I have a strong background in hardware, network engineering and SaaS platforms such as MS365, Azure, BOX and Adobe. I am passionate about technology, enjoy learning and keeping up with today's trends, and work well with people at all levels. I am calm under pressure and thrive in time-critical, fast-paced, information-sensitive environments.
