About Troy Howard

Troy Howard is a graduate of the Wayne State University, School of Business. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Troy has spent 25 years building a career in business specializing in capital growth and asset improvements for the City of Detroit. As the city manager of Detroit’s parking garages and lots Mr. Howard has contributed to its ongoing success. Despite the economic downturn within the city of Detroit his division has remained profitable, met and exceeded its budgetary obligations. Recent events and successes include but are not limited to the 2014 North American International Auto Show (N.A.I.A.S), 2013 Detroit Grand Prix, 2013 Detroit Lion/Tiger sporting event season while managing a parking and revenue equipment system upgrade (Amano/McGann) for the municipal parking department. In 2011 Mr. Howard shifted the department revenue focus from event parking to monthly contract parkers thereby adding stability to the department’s revenue stream. It’s this kind of forward thinking that has allowed him to help keep the city of Detroit’s parking department successful. And relevant. This is the kind of progressive thinking that he will bring to any enterprise.
