About Troy Marrow

As a Minor League Fundamentals Coach at Baltimore Orioles, I have been working for the past two years to develop the skills and potential of the players and to foster a positive and inclusive culture in the organization. I leverage my competencies in coaching/mentoring, operations, administration, and program planning to provide effective guidance, support, and feedback to the players and to coordinate and execute various programs and initiatives. With over six years of experience in the sports industry, I am passionate about creating more opportunities and diversity in sports. I hold a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management from North Carolina Central University, where I was also a student athlete and an academic achiever. I was honored to be one of the 22 fellows for the inaugural MLB Diversity Fellowship Program in 2018, which allowed me to learn from influential decision-makers and to experience front office roles in the baseball industry. I am always eager to expand my knowledge and skills and to take on new challenges in my field of expertise.
