About Troy McKinney

Bland & Associates, P.C. has been around since 1976 and is the Midwest region’s leading certified public accounting firm specializing in assurance and tax services, management consulting, strategic planning, and growth strategies for businesses and individuals, and providing professional services to the U.S. Government and its various agencies. I started my career at Bland & Associates, P.C. out of college, in 1998. I left the firm in to pursue an interest as a controller in a few private businesses, including MECA and Tighton Tools & Fasteners, before returning to Bland & Associates in 2006. I became a shareholder in 2008 and enjoy working in a dynamic office that has grown tremendously over the years to provide our associates with advancement opportunities. Our firm has been listed as one of the fastest growing firms in the U.S. by "Inside Public Accounting". We have also been named one of the top 100 CPA firms to work for by "Accounting Today" four of the past five years. We offer a service culture that is different from the traditional CPA firm, whereas we do not entirely focus on historical results and compliance (such as audits and taxes), rather we focus on the future of our clients and help them achieve their goals. Specialties: Closely held business consulting, profitability analysis, budgeting, tax services, assurance services, heathcare, real estate, construction, Indian Tribal entities, and governmental auditing. In my personal time I enjoy spending time with the family and supporting our children's activities, boating, golfing and reading John Grisham novels.
